Bobby
was my first dog. It’s a Fox Terrier. He was 3 years old when he came to live
with us. We grew up together. He was a very good guarding dog and he was never
afraid for other dogs or people. He was always thinking that he was a great
Grizzly Bear. He really got the courage and the stamina to protect the whole
family. He died when he was 18 years old. Bobby we really had a lot of fun together. One day we will meet again. Apollo
Balthasar Von Petinos, my biggest love.
Apollo was born in Neustadt, Germany in the state Schlewig Holstein. I still remember it if it was happened yesterday, the day that I pick him up
at his
breeder. At that time I was living in Hamburg, Germany. When Apollo was 6 months
old, we started with his training to become an Schutzhund. When I moved back to
the Netherlands we continued his training but this time we did IPO. We had some
great successes together and we did a lot of demonstrations around the
Netherlands. Also in the Show Ring, was Apollo very successful. Apollo died on
24 January 1999 at the age of almost 17 years old. It was if he wanted to make
sure that I would always remember his dying day. He died at 16:00 hrs on my
Birthday. So on my birthday I will always light a candle for you, my Apollo.
